Hey, do me a favour and stop what you are doing right now. Go pour a coffee or a cup of tea. Take five minutes of your time and just stop, sit down and relax.
Trust me, you will be thankful.

So todays meander took us across the Irish Sea to Lancaster.
As it was Mrs Meander’s birthday we went out for a spot of dinner at the Cross Keys, just outside of Lancaster towards Carnforth.
Fantastic food and they catered well for the two Celiacs in our party.
I had the “special burger” which was okay. Only whinge really was portion size of the Sea Bass with risotto which Mrs M had.
Tasted good though!

I took this photo some years ago after walking to the top of the only mountain on the Isle of Man with my daughter. There is something special about the feeling of being the highest person for miles around, it’s breathtaking and also quite peaceful.
Doing something like this is just amazing, it clears your mind, gives clarity of thought.
Go out and do something tomorrow that gives you that peace. Trust me you will be thankful for doing it.
The Black Dog is a little pizza place situated on the quay side, Peel on the Isle of Man. It’s serves fantastic pizza, stone baked as you watch and serves a good selection of wines beers and spirits.
It has a great outside area and a inside area as well.
Not only do they serve great food they do gigs with local bands and it has a great atmosphere.
But one of the best things about here is that they allow dogs in.
So if you want something a little different on a sunny day when walking the dog then this is one I recommend.
However be careful, you might just lose your shirt playing cards with Brodie-Mae!
